HGV Technician

Competitive salary up to £49,000 based on experience and skillset On-Target Earnings (OTE) approximately £50,000, including paid overtime and occasional Saturday work at half pay Working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with paid lunch and coffee breaks, plus team-cooked lunches Family-oriented workspace fostering teamwork and loyalty Modern workshop equipped with pits, lifts, and rolling road 28 days holiday including bank holidays, plus contributions to a pension scheme Duties:
Repairing and maintaining a fleet of approximately 20 trucks, predominantly Renault Diagnosing faults and addressing issues with a focus on quality repairs Performing servicing, routine maintenance, and fault rectification Supporting fleet cover during occasional Saturday mornings Maintaining shared tools and equipment in a collaborative workshop environment Requirements:
Fully qualified HGV technician with a Class 1 licence preferred; newly qualified or progressing individuals with the right attitude will also be considered Experience working with heavy goods vehicles and trailers Knowledge of diagnostic procedures and mechanical repairs Full UK driving licence (Class 1 preferred) Positive attitude, loyalty, and strong team player mentality IRTEC certification and VOSA Etech training are advantageous but not essential Own tools desired;
