Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Senior Auditor to join their Red Bank, NJ office.
Responsibilities- Oversee multiple audit and review engagements
- Guide, train, and supervise engagement staff
- Serve as the primary liaison between managers, partners, clients, and the engagement team
- Manage all phases of an engagement and resolve accounting, legal, and regulatory issues that arise
- Examine all scheduled and unscheduled general ledger accounts for accuracy
- Prepare audit, review, and compiled annual financial statements
- Conduct constructive discussions with team members regarding evaluations and provide counsel
- Assist with billing and collections processes
- Stay current on new accounting pronouncements and literature
- Participate in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Public accounting experience
- Experience managing multiple audit and review engagements
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and current regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
