Orthopedic Surgeon Tinton Falls NJ (1 hr S of NYC)

We are looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our medical practice full time in the Toms River, Plainsboro and Tinton Falls areas. Ideally, we are seeking a general orthopedic surgeon who is comfortable treating patients suffering from acute and chronic etiologies. We are looking for a General Orthopedic Surgeon, who enjoys working with patients and collaborating with colleagues to provide top quality patient care in our medical practice.

We have a diverse staff of a variety of health professionals, and we need an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide excellent patient care! Ideally, the incoming Orthopedic Surgeon is skilled and experienced with arthroscopic sports medicine repairs of the shoulders, hips, and knees and preferably can perform total joint replacement surgery on hips and knees (but not required).

Duties:

• Patient exam/evaluations (medical history, physical exam, review imaging/reports and tests) new patient and follow up visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests/labs
• Referral for care/therapy when medically necessary
• Diagnosis and treatment care plan formulation
• Patient education as to care plan/surgical options, therapies and modalities, and post care instructions
• Perform intra-articular steroid injections, arthroscopic repairs, and total joint replacement (with and without robot assistance) if trained
• Documentation and timely progress notes
• Collaboration with the multispecialty team for comprehensive patient care
• Patient follow up and reexams

Requirements:

• BCBE General Orthopedic Surgeon
• Medical license in NJ
• Experience with arthroscopic repair of shoulders, hips, and knees- total joint replacement preferred

Compensation (range):

• $400k-$500k annual base plus competitive bonus package (depending on experience/skill set)
