Water And Wastewater Operator - Red Bank Borough

The Borough of Red Bank seeks a full-time Water and Wastewater Operator. Under the direction of the Utilities Department Foreman, this position is responsible for Water Treatment Operations, Water Distribution Operations, Wastewater Collection Operations, and other public utilities duties as assigned.

The hourly salary range is $22.08 to $32.75, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

• Valid New Jersey Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B License with Air Brake preferred and required within a year of hire.
• New Jersey N endorsement for Tanker operation preferred and required within a year of hire.
• Valid T-1 Public Water Treatment System Operator’s License, W-1 Public Water Distribution System Operator’s License, and C-1 Public Wastewater Collection System Operator’s License issued by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection preferred and required within 2 years of hire.
• One (1) year of experience in operating, adjusting, regulating, repairing, and maintaining electric motors, pumps, valves, and other electrical and mechanical equipment of the type used in a water treatment plant, pumping station, or filtration plant.
