Financial is seeking an experienced Associate Financial Advisor to join our Red Bank, New Jersey office. This full‑time role supports one Senior Advisor in delivering comprehensive planning and insurance‑based solutions, while actively prospecting and building new client relationships, with a clear development track toward becoming a lead financial advisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the Senior Advisor to prepare and update client financial plans, including retirement, protection, cash flow, education, and business planning analyses.
  • Assist with client meetings by gathering and organizing data, preparing plan reports and presentations, and documenting follow‑up items in the firm’s CRM.
  • Follow up with attendees from financial education workshops, schedule client and prospect meetings, and manage related back‑office paperwork and documentation.
  • Perform paraplanning activities, including data entry, plan modeling, running scenarios, and preparing plan outputs for the Senior Advisor’s review.
  • Deliver and co‑facilitate financial education workshops and seminars, confidently presenting in front of groups and engaging participants with clear, practical guidance.
  • Proactively prospect for new clients through workshops, networking, referrals, centers of influence, and other approved business‑development activities to bring new clients into the firm.
  • Help the Senior Advisor with practice‑management activities, such as preparing marketing materials, running basic analyses, and tracking pipeline and activity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; fields such as finance, business, economics, or related disciplines are helpful.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a closely related advisory/client‑facing role.
  • Active life and health licenses required.
  • Active securities registrations required: either Series 7 and 66, or Series 7 and 63 and 65.
  • Demonstrated comfort speaking in front of a room and leading financial education workshops or client seminars.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with ability to work with numbers and utilize planning software and CRM tools.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and centers of influence.
  • High integrity, coachability, and willingness to follow a structured development and activity plan.
