IT Consultant, Systems Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an IT & Technical Equipment Consultant to join our Equipment Consulting team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well‑rounded skill set to join the Equipment team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional engineers and technical consultants. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of IT and technical equipment but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.
Job Responsibilities- Inspect and evaluate damages to different types of IT and electronic systems, such as computers, servers, networking equipment, audiovisual equipment, phone systems, telecom systems, low voltage and fiber optic cabling, and infrastructure.
- Conduct configuration audits.
- Analyze requirements and specifications to determine comparable replacements.
- Provide research for determining costs associated with replacement (i.e., new and used).
- Determine fair market appraisals. Expected to produce 3+ page written reports regularly.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-2 years of hands‑on technical experience
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and meet client deadlines
- Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Driver’s License
- Background in IT, Information security, computer science, or business information systems preferred
- Must be able to travel as necessary.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $85,000‑100,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
