IT Business Analyst, Business Systems & Technology Analysis

ABOUT YOUR ROLEWorks alongside the line of business, serving as the bridge between technology and the business. Interacts with individuals across all business lines to discover and document business requirements and evaluate the need for technology and process improvement. Represents the team in cross-departmental or bank-wide projects, clarifying needs, coordinating solutions, and communicating progress to the sponsor/team. Actively works with other IT teams in resolving more involved tickets and critical issues.
WHATYOU WILL DO LIST
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge on core bank, lending, branch and/or document storage applications and functionality.
- Ability to apply business analysis methods/techniques.
- Strong analytical reasoning to understand user requirements, with the demonstrated ability to transform them into application and operation functions.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the UAT life cycle, and compliance with change control.
- Demonstrated proficiency in implementing and managing the enterprise‑wide applications supported by the team. Help to develop the skills of the team.
- Working familiarity with the Salesforce platform, including declarative tools (Flows, validation rules) and programmatic development (Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, LWC).
- Ability to manage own projects through to timely completion, communicating status on same within team or business lines.
- High level awareness of a variety of IT solution methods and application functions.
- Knowledge and understanding of the business analysis role across all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in assessing and identifying solution assumptions, constraints, dependencies, and risks.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
- Customer service‑oriented focus, with the ability to apply independent problem‑solving judgment.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology related fields, or equivalent work experience required.
- 4‑6 years of experience on supporting core bank, lending, branch or document storage systems, and managing process improvement initiatives.
- 4 years of professional technical experience with strategy, planning and/or business analysis preferred.
- Fiserv Premier, nCino/Salesforce, Copilot Studio, or similar banking system experience preferred.
External contacts are occasional. Frequent internal contact with department and senior managers on Information Technology issues or information requests.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSOffice environment. Ability to operate a computer. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information with individuals and groups. Ability to travel throughout Bank footprint.
