A growing law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in its Public and Education Law practice. This role provides administrative and legal support in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Provide general administrative support (printing, scanning, copying)
- Electronically file pleadings via NJ E-Courts, NYSCEF, PACER, and federal systems
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and handle incoming calls
- Draft, proofread, redact, Bates-stamp, and organize legal documents
- Maintain electronic filing systems and assist with case intake and conflict checks
- Coordinate couriers, court reporters, expert witnesses, and meetings
- Prepare expense reports, check requests, and time entries
- 1–2 years of law firm experience
- Familiarity with electronic court filing systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
