Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $21.25/hr

• Assist in inspections and repairs HVAC equipment cooling units, heading units, hot water systems, ventilation equipment and other standard equipment.
• Assist in repairs and installs drywall including mudding, taping, and sanding.
• Painting walls and ceilings as needed.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs, including unplugging, repairing, and replacing toilets, lavatories, sinks and replacing faulty gate and ball valves.
• Shovel snow and scatter ice melts to ensure safe passage for residents, public and other employees.
• Perform minor electrical repairs including replacing faulty outlets, switches, and other electrical apparatus.
• Assist and follow maintenance standards.
• Perform general rough and finish carpentry as well as rough and finish concrete work.
• Perform general landscaping, yard work including mowing, cleanup, and other types of general yard work.
• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing maintenance assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Perform administrative requirements (i.e., completing necessary forms, reports, etc.) and submit to the facility Administrator as necessary.
• Ensure an adequate supply of maintenance supplies is available to perform tasks.
• Ensure equipment is clean and safely stored at the end of the shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
