Position OverviewSeeking a dynamic and experienced Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to lead our Crisis Behavioral Health nursing department. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing clinical and support staff, and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, comprehensive care to acute, complex patients. The Manager will serve as a clinical expert, provide leadership to the specialty area, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Previous leadership experience is preferred.
- Certification: PMHNP certification is required.
- Schedule:
Full‑Time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekends.
Oversee daily operations of Crisis Behavioral Health nursing department.
Manage clinical and support staff.
Ensure delivery of high‑quality, comprehensive care to acute, complex patients.
Serve as a clinical expert and maintain regulatory compliance.
Eligibility & Requirements- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership or administrative capacity.
- Current and valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Current and valid NJ Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) License.
- Board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
- Active DEA and NJ CDS registrations for prescriptive authority.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) HCP Certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience working in a Nurse Practitioner role preferred.
