Clinical Resource Nurse - Night w

The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in collaborative environments and are dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

• Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for coordinated patient care.
• Maintain cooperative relationships among healthcare teams through effective communication.
• Collaborate and provide clinical input for appropriate bed placement.
• Prioritize ED throughput to inpatient units.
• Proactively round on and assist nurse residents and new skills.
• Manage patients at risk for clinical deterioration through surveillance and house rounding.
• Assist with clinical troubleshooting and high risk low volume nursing interventions.
• Assess and stabilize patients who are clinically deteriorating in collaboration with the care team.
• Provide mentorship for nursing staff in managing complex patient challenges.
• Participate in quality improvement, chart reviews, and productivity reporting.

• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of critical care or emergency department nursing experience.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  
  • Current RN License in New Jersey.
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required.
  • Telemetry certification preferred.
