Role Description The Keyholder is a full-time, on-site role based at the Dor L Dor store in Red Bank, NJ. This role is responsible for opening and closing the store, securing premises, and supporting daily operations, including cash handling and adherence to store policies. Day-to-day tasks include greeting customers, providing product guidance, driving sales, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring a clean, organized sales floor.
The Keyholder also assists in training and guiding team members, monitoring inventory levels, processing deliveries, and resolving customer concerns in a professional manner. This position works closely with store management to uphold brand standards, support promotional activities, and contribute to overall store performance.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle inquiries or issues professionally.
- Solid Retail Sales and Communication skills to engage customers, recommend products, and support sales goals.
- Demonstrated Product Knowledge or the ability to learn merchandise details quickly and share information clearly with customers.
- Experience with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and basic point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail in merchandising, stock management, and store presentation.
- Prior retail or fashion retail experience preferred; supervisory or keyholder experience is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail or customer service is beneficial.
