Plumbing Mechanic

We're looking for an experienced Plumbing Technician to join a growing team working on a variety of commercial construction projects throughout New Jersey. From pharmaceutical facilities and renovations to additions and new construction, you'll have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, lead crews, and expand your expertise in the trade. If you're a skilled plumber who can read plans, lay out work independently, and take pride in doing the job right the first time, we'd like to hear from you.

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems
• Lay out and coordinate plumbing work from blueprints and project drawings
• Install storm, sanitary, water, and temporary water systems
• Lead and mentor helpers and junior mechanics on job sites
• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repairs
• Coordinate with project leads and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, building codes, and safety standards
• Utilize construction management software to review assignments and track progress

• Strong commercial plumbing experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience installing and working with cast iron and PVC piping
• Knowledge of storm, sanitary, and water distribution systems
• Leadership experience directing helpers or junior mechanics
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Bank, NJ. The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr this position is anticipated to close on Aug 24, 2026.
