Chambliss Center for Children – Red Bank is looking for a caring, energetic, and experienced Pre-K Teacher to help prepare young children for one of their biggest transitions yet—kindergarten! This is an important year for children as they develop the academic, social, emotional, and independence skills they need to be successful in school. We’re looking for a teacher who enjoys creating a fun, structured classroom where children are challenged to learn, encouraged to ask questions, and supported as they become more independent.

Education & Experience:
Our pay scale starts at $11/hour with only high school and little experience; $13/hour with a CDA; increases based on education, credentials, and relevant experience, with opportunities to earn $17–$18+/hour. - Benefits:

- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom where children are excited to learn.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that prepare children for kindergarten, including early literacy, math, science, problem-solving, and language development.
- Help children develop important social-emotional skills, including cooperation, communication, self-regulation, and conflict resolution.
- Encourage independence with classroom routines, self-help skills, following directions, and taking responsibility for their belongings and activities.
- Observe and document children's growth and development and use that information to support individual learning needs.
- Establish consistent classroom routines while keeping learning fun and engaging.
- Communicate professionally and positively with families about their child's development and experiences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers and other members of the center team
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of experience working in an early childhood classroom is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Pre-K or preschool-aged children is preferred.
- CDA, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or other education in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
- Patient, dependable, creative, and energetic.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Someone who can balance learning and fun while maintaining appropriate structure and expectations.
