Manage the Perishable Department including Produce, Fresh Meat, Packaged Meats, Dairy, Frozen Food, Bread, and Thaw and Sell Bakery to ensure inventory, presentation, and customer service standards;
Maintain correct perishable stock levels based on store volume using guides and order plans;
Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing, and safe handling of food per regulations;
Assist in scheduling coverage and manage staff performance to meet store standards;
Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
