KeyQualifications and Skills:
- Valid credential or certification in Special Education, Diagnostic Assessment, or as a Behavior Specialist
- Experience working in Pre-K or Pre-School educational settings preferred
- Deep understanding of IEP processes, compliance, and individualized learning strategies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to observe, assess, and design supports for diverse student populations, including those with special needs
- Familiarity with data collection, progress monitoring, and best practices in early intervention
- Conduct educational assessments and collaborate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted instruction and modifications for students with unique learning needs in PreK or Pre-School settings
- Provide behavioral consultation, intervention planning, and staff training as a Behavior Specialist
- Support inclusive classroom environments and facilitate communication between teachers, families, and support staff
- Track and report student growth through data-driven practices and regular progress updates
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide student support initiatives
