SAP Financial Accounting Senior Consultant

ASAP and initially for 6-Months, plus extensions up-to potentially a total of 2-years.

Part time / 5-20-hours per week (As-Needed / Flexible)

PwC Canada requires a Senior Finance Consultant, to act as a part of PwC's internal SAP Practice - Managed Services Team, supporting various Private Sector end-client accounts including an ongoing Global SAP S/4

HANA Public Cloud Implementation Project, leading as subject matter expert and providing ongoing advisor and support as required. The eligible candidate will pick up and close tickets, and may be required to attend bi-monthly stand-up meetings.

• Must offer a minimum of ten years (120 months) of SAP Finance Consulting experience.

• Applicants with demonstrated SAP Certification(s) and/or an Accounting Designation(s) will be preferred.
• Applicants offering IS-Oil/Gas industry experience.

• Joint Venture Accounting.
• Fixed Assets valuation.
• Bank statement processing and reconciliation.
• Experience with in multi-countries (Global, AMER/EMEA).
• Payment runs, clearing process, and/or foreign currency valuation.

• SAP General Ledger (GL) configuration and maintenance.
• SAP Asset Accounting, including Asset Under Construction (AUC), Capex WBS, and/or investment profiles.
• Exchange rate configuration and currency conversion tables.
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) creation and settlement rules.

• Cost allocation and cutback accounts.
• Financial Statement Version (FSV) setup and mapping.
• Value-Added Tax (VAT) reposting, and/or tax box configuration.
• Data Medium Exchange Engine (DMEE) mapping and payment methods.

• Experience with Managed Services.
• Experience with in the Oil & Gas or Energy.
• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA Public Cloud and APIs.
• Experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for invoicing.
