Your OpportunityBDO Canada is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Expatriate Tax Services team. The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and training to the team in the preparation of Canadian and US individual tax returns.
- Review Canadian and US individual income tax returns.
- Day‑to‑day expatriate tax advice, including queries on items such as individual relocations, payroll benefit taxation and reporting.
- Various additional expatriate tax consulting duties which include researching income tax issues and reviewing memoranda or client letters in the area of executive compensation, global equity plans, policy design and other expatriate tax issues.
- Work closely with the Partner in charge of the practice to develop and support the team.
- Explore future business opportunities with partners across Canada with respect to their clients.
- Engage in business development initiatives to further grow the practice.

- Hold your professional CPA designation.
- Have 7 or more years of professional experience, part or all of which specializing in Expatriate Tax.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills (French as well as English is an asset).
- Have the ability to collaborate with team members nationally.
- Be interested in contributing to the training and development of team members.
