About the role:

Our General Sales Managers do just that – they lead our sales team with purpose, inspiring and empowering individuals while fostering growth and collaboration. Do you have a passion for the outdoors, camping, or RVing? Are you persuasive, driven, and looking for a challenge? If you have stellar customer service skills and are looking to gain experience in a new industry, this might be the career for you.

You bring a positive attitude and exceptional hospitality, and we’ll provide you with the support, tools, and training you’ll need to help get people camping!

As a Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Recruiting and developing a team of high-producing salespeople
  • Optimizing employee performance through effective ongoing evaluations, recognition, rewards, and discipline/corrective management practices to produce expected and exceptional results
  • Delivering job-specific training and following-up to ensure retention and desired outcomes
  • Modelling expected behaviours by acting as a salesperson when necessary
  • Managing unit inventory for maximum return on company investment, resulting in increased profitability, to maximize both sales potential and opportunities, while minimizing financial and marketplace risks
  • Producing agreed‑upon sales and margins suitable for company sustainability and profitable growth in coordination with other departments
  • Conducting effective budgeting and strategic planning activities (in coordination with other departments), including setting and incorporating individual sales production goals
  • Maintaining and strengthening successful customer and community relations

The selected candidate must be available weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays, but not Sundays!

Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Experience in recruiting and developing a team
  • Managerial experience in a customer sales capacity is preferred
  • RV knowledge is an asset
  • Goal‑oriented and achievement‑driven
  • Strong organizational and customer relations skills
  • A passion for excellence
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (including Excel)
  • Reliable transportation
