Job Description (English)

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager/Operations Coordinator based in Montreal, reporting to the Operations Manager. As the selected candidate, you will successfully manage, for Crew and Fleet products, multiple engagements to customize and maintain in-production customer software solutions through effective operational planning and tracking. This position pays 72,000 CAD – 86,000 CAD and is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

(English)
  • Coordinate developer team activities required to deliver customer commitments.
  • Schedule Management:
    Create and maintain a schedule for each engagement by identifying and monitoring overall timelines, milestones, tasks and deliverables.
  • Resource Management:
    Ensure assigned engagements are adequately staffed and engage with regional leads to address gaps.
  • Cross Functional Leadership:
    Understand services, contractual commitments and co‑ordinate deliverable activities across multiple stakeholder groups, such as team leads, department managers and the support organization.
  • Issue /

    Risk Management:

    Anticipate and identify risks and issues that may impact deliverables or customer commitments. Develop and implement mitigation and corrective actions.
  • Communication:
    Compile and deliver operational status reports to stakeholders on an ongoing basis, including status tracking and communication of established KPIs.
  • Change Management:
    Ensure proper change management procedures are followed to ensure scope is managed and additional work is captured and appropriately billed to customers.
Required Skills & Experience (English)
  • 3+ years operations or project management experience with a software application
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Experience with Jira and Agile scrum
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
Nice to Have Skills & Experience (English)
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous software development engagements
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Solid business acumen and relationship skills needed to build partnerships with stakeholders
  • Aviation industry expertise, ideally around crew management solutions
  • Experience applying Scrum and Agile principles to improve operational deliveries
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project;
    Primavera experience a plus
  • Multilingualism is an asset (French, Spanish)

Le candidat retenu gérera avec succès, pour les produits Crew et Fleet, plusieurs mandats visant à personnaliser et à maintenir des solutions logicielles client en production, grâce à une planification et un suivi opérationnels efficaces.   • Gestion des échéanciers :
    Créer et maintenir un calendrier pour chaque mandat en identifiant et en suivant les échéances globales, jalons, tâches et livrables.
  • Gestion des ressources : S’assurer que les mandats assignés sont adéquatement dotés en ressources et collaborer avec les responsables régionaux pour combler les besoins.
  • Leadership transversal :
    Comprendre les services et engagements contractuels, et coordonner les activités de livraison entre différents groupes de parties prenantes, tels que chefs d’équipe, gestionnaires de départements et équipes de support.
  • Gestion des risques et des enjeux :
    Anticiper et identifier les risques et problèmes pouvant impacter les livrables ou engagements clients, et mettre en place des actions correctives et des plans d’atténuation.
  • Communication :
    Compiler et transmettre des rapports d’état opérationnel aux parties prenantes de façon continue, incluant le suivi des indicateurs clés de performance (KPI).
