Responsibilities
  • Deliver frontline technical, operational, and safety training programs.
  • Lead new employee orientation in coordination with site leadership.
  • Coordinate all aspects of training including scheduling, attendance, and logistics.
  • Maintain training systems, records, and databases with a high level of accuracy.
  • Develop and update training materials (classroom, online, and OJT).
  • Support LMS implementation and ongoing system improvements.
  • Act as a key resource to plant leadership, supporting training priorities and workforce development.
  • Influence training outcomes through strong engagement and collaboration with site teams.
  • Monitor and report on training effectiveness and workforce competency.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to training programs, systems, and delivery approaches.
  • Partner with the broader Canadian Training team to drive consistency and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Two years’ experience in training coordination, learning & development, or a similar role.
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience with training systems and continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Strong organization and coordination capability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training systems (Workday LMS preferred).
  • Knowledge of industrial safety training programs (e.g., confined space, mobile equipment).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
