Position: Environmental Compliance Technologist Role
Drive ecological initiatives as an Environmental Compliance Technologist, specializing in regulatory enforcement and project management. Engage with various stakeholders to uphold ecological integrity and effectiveness.

This role focuses on providing environmental expertise within the PPW section, leading projects that require comprehensive planning and operational management. You will manage field operations, enforce regulations related to pest control, and provide guidance to the team. Collaborate closely with the Ecological Services Coordinator to enhance compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement ecological monitoring programs

• Supervise staff and coordinate fieldwork operations

• Plan and oversee GIS data collection and training

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Review and manage ecological program resources and budgets

Requirements:

• Diploma in biological or horticultural sciences

• Three years’ experience in ecological program-related fields

• First Aid certification and valid Alberta Driver’s License

• Provincial Pesticide Applicator Certificate required

• Strong communication and organizational skills
