The Opportunity

Concordens is an exploration technology company focused on building a new framework for mineral discovery. It combines advanced subsurface imaging, integrated geological interpretation, and aligned exploration partnerships to continuously improve the identification and advancement of mineral systems.

This is a fluid, high-leverage position designed for a geologist who wants to influence the entire lifecycle of exploration—from evaluation to development of geological models and strategies.

• Opportunity Assessment:
  Evaluate early-stage opportunities to identify where the Concordens system can improve exploration outcomes.
• Partnership Development:
  Build collaborative relationships with exploration companies and industry partners to establish long-term partnerships.
• Strategic Alignment:
  Work directly with the founding team to develop partnership structures and strategies that align technical capabilities with exploration success.

• Integrated Geological Interpretation:
  Work with geophysicists and other experts to develop interpretations that integrate ANT, geological observations, geochemistry, and other datasets.
• Exploration Concept Development:
  Evaluate geological systems at property and district scale to develop concepts and challenge existing interpretations.
• Exploration Strategy & Target Evaluation:
  Transform datasets into actionable insights and support partner teams in refining strategies.

• System Development:
  Contribute to continuous refinement of the exploration framework and determine where its combination yields greatest value.
• Cross-Disciplinary Integration:
  Work across geology, geophysics, operations, and business development to ensure insights strengthen the entire system.
• Strategic Expansion:
  Support evolution of the platform across geological settings and exploration opportunities.

• The exploration thinker :
  Experience in mineral exploration and deep interest in geological systems, comfortable evaluating opportunities at multiple scales.
• The independent problem solver :
  Intellectually curious, questions assumptions, works with incomplete information, and challenges interpretations.
• The opportunity evaluator :
  Strong commercial awareness, understands exploration risk and capital allocation, and communicates effectively.
• The builder :
  Motivated to create new systems, works in small teams, comfortable outside narrow roles, and aims to have impactful contributions.

• Meaningful experience in mineral exploration, geological interpretation, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of geological systems and three-dimensional geological interpretation.
• Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geophysics, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) welcomed but not required.
• Exploration experience in under-cover environments.
• Experience in district-scale targeting or mineral systems analysis.
• Familiarity with passive seismic methods, Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT), or other seismic imaging techniques is a plus.
