Job Overview

Work location:

On the road. Salary: 24.00 to 28.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 32 to 40 hours per week. Terms of employment:
Permanent employment, Full time.

Education:

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a 1- to 2‑year program.

• Assemble mechanical equipment.
• Assemble stationary industrial machinery.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Install machinery and equipment.

• 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
• Electronic General Safety Orientation (EGSO).
• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
• CPR Certificate.
• Hoisting and Rigging Training.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with automated and robotic systems, electrical and electronic controls, hydraulic systems, power tools, and power transmission systems.
• Experience in research and development, start‑up and testing, renovating and restoring, troubleshooting, and wiring.
• Bondable; criminal record check, driving record check and drug test required.

• Work on the road with frequent or constant travel.
• All weather conditions; must handle heavy loads (more than 45 kg).
• Physically demanding: standing for extended periods, working under pressure.
• Own transportation and vehicle; willing to travel, valid driver’s licence.
• Own tools/equipment: steel‑toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, safety harness.
