What You'll Be Doing
- Reporting to the Sr. Fire Systems Specialist, you will:
- Inspect, service, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems
- Install, modify, and repair sprinkler piping and components
- Perform system upgrades, retrofits, and additions
- Inspect and service fire pumps and hydrant systems
- Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls
- Identify and recommend fire code compliance solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare detailed inspection, testing, and deficiency reports
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes and standards

- Be authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN
- Hold a valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Be able to provide a satisfactory driver's abstract
- Have experience towing trailers
- Be willing to travel and work after hours/weekends as required
- Be willing to work away from home base as needed
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Be able to obtain and maintain required safety certifications
- Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter certification (required)
- Minimum 1+ years Journeyman experience
- Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., NFPA)
- Proven experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting sprinkler systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system drawings
- Strong technical understanding of fire protection systems
- Ability to coordinate work and communicate with clients, contractors, and authorities
