Trotter & Morton seeks a Mechanical Supervisor in Red Deer, Alberta, with strong plumbing and leadership expertise to manage diverse projects. Focus on mentoring and quality oversight.

As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead plumbing teams on critical projects, including hospitals and commercial facilities.

Your role involves ordering materials, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards. You’ll be responsible for training and developing less experienced team members, ensuring all aspects of the job are executed with efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise plumbing installations and coordinate job site logistics

• Train and mentor apprentices on plumbing systems

• Enforce safety and compliance with quality standards

• Liaise with contractors and project managers regularly

• Document project progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

Required:

Plumbing Trade Certification/Red Seal

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Journeyperson Plumber

• Valid 2nd Class Gas Certification is an asset

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong understanding of plumbing codes and blueprints
