Position: Full-Time Welder
Take your welding career to the next level with a full-time position in Red Deer, Alberta. Work at the Flour Mill, focusing on structural welding and site safety.

As a Welder, reporting to the Superintendent, you will play a vital role in physical labor and structural welding at a busy construction site. This position involves reading and implementing construction drawings, utilizing various tools, and maintaining a clean workspace. Collaboration with fellow craft workers will also be a key part of your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute structural welding following safety guidelines

• Follow construction drawings for quality production

• Set up and use templates and power tools effectively

• Maintain proper housekeeping on the construction site

• Provide assistance to other workers as needed

Requirements:

• Age 18 or older with Journeyman certification or CWB equivalent

• Proficient in SMAW welding techniques

• Solid understanding of construction drawings

• Own basic welding tools for the trade

• Physical ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs
