Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Licensed Diesel Technician to join the team. This role requires extensive knowledge in diagnosing, overhauling, and repairing motor truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision. Candidates should be adept in performing complex repairs and ensuring vehicle performance, utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair motor truck and trailer equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance services and inspections
• Road test vehicles to confirm repair efficacy
• Document warranty repairs accurately
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of tractor trailer maintenance experience
• Valid Provincial License (Red Seal/310T) required
• Proficient with diagnostic and hand tools
• Basic computer skills necessary
• Ability to work in varied conditions required
