Clean Harbors Red Deer AB is looking for a Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their safety conscious team!
This position will be responsible for the repairs and preventative maintenance of all company owned fleet (trucks, tractors, trailers, heavy equipment, etc).
This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

- Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.
- Perform thorough inspections (CVIP) of equipment and identify required repairs.
- Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
- Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
- Complete repair orders.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles.
- Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor.
- Complete warranty information.
- Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.
- Carry out housekeeping duties.
- Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Licensed as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
- 3+ experience working as a (Heavy Duty) Mechanic is an asset.
- Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.
- Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.
- Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software
- Class 5 Driver’s License required.
