Journeyman Welder at Flour Mill

Join a dynamic team as a Journeyman Welder at the Flour Mill in Red Deer, Alberta. This full-time position requires expertise in structural welding and adherence to safety protocols.

You will report to the Superintendent while performing various welding tasks, utilizing protected practices for optimal safety. Candidates should be Journeyman certified or enrolled in an apprenticeship, with a strong grasp of welding techniques and the ability to interpret construction drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute structural welding tasks on-site

• Read and follow construction drawings for accurate setup

• Utilize templates and tools for material joining

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area

• Assist other craft workers as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age

• Journeyman status or equivalent apprenticeship

• CWB certification required for SMAW positions

• Comprehensive knowledge of safety practices

• Basic welding tools required
