Meter Proving Technician

Join Medallion Energy Services as a full-time Meter Proving Technician in Red Deer or Drayton Valley. This position involves inline proving, calibration, and maintenance for oil and gas operations.

As an integral part of the Medallion team, you will perform essential tasks such as gas and liquid meter proving, and supporting measurement operations. Your strong field experience will enhance equipment operation, troubleshooting, and compliance with regulatory standards in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inline and bench proving on measurement systems

• Operate and maintain proving equipment efficiently

• Troubleshoot measurement and communication issues

• Support site preventative maintenance and inspections

• Complete calibration records and regulatory documentation

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyman Instrument Technician preferred

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Experience with measurement systems and regulatory standards

• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

• Ability to work on call and during weekends when needed
