Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Journeyman Metal Cladding Installer to join our team in the Red Deer/Blackfalds, Alberta area
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal cladding and ACM installation, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. This position involves working on various projects, ensuring that installations meet the highest standards and are completed on time and within budget.

• Install metal cladding systems on a variety of structures, including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
• Measure, cut, and fit metal panels to ensure precise installation.
• Safely operate hand and power tools required for metal cladding installation.
• Perform site preparation and layout, including scaffolding and safety equipment setup.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced team members.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal cladding or related construction work.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of metal cladding systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
