GCS Group Intermediate Driller Role

Based in Alberta, this position is all about leveraging your experience to operate Ditch Witch HDD equipment efficiently. You’ll coordinate with the locating team and conduct critical inspections, ensuring that equipment is ready for safe operations. You will also assist less experienced team members, making this a great opportunity to further develop your leadership skills on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HDD drill rigs for underground telecom installations

• Work closely with Sub Site locate teams

• Perform pre-shift inspections and fluid checks

• Conduct basic repairs and maintenance on drilling equipment

• Document bore logs and daily reports

Requirements:

• Valid certifications before commencement

• Direct experience with Ditch Witch HDD drills

• Familiarity with drill-to-locate communication systems

• Capable of making decisions with some supervision

Required:

Class 5 driver's license;
Class 3 preferred
