Position: Experienced Pipelayer at CBO Earthworks
Location: City of Lacombe

CBO Earthworks seeks a skilled Pipelayer for their underground utilities division in Lacombe, AB. This full-time seasonal role focuses on water and sewer infrastructure installation and maintenance.

In this position, you will perform tasks essential to maintaining underground water and sewer systems. Key responsibilities include installing mains, valves, hydrants, and managing catch basins. Collaborating with excavator operators and adhering to safety standards will be vital as you contribute to high-quality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair water mains and sanitary sewer systems

• Grade and prepare pipe bedding according to specifications

• Ensure proper pipe alignment with lasers and equipment

• Perform trench safety inspections and utilize protection

• Assist with repairs and emergency service work

Requirements:

• Experience with underground water and sewer systems required

• Valid Class 5 license and strong communication skills

• Ability to read construction plans and grade stakes

• Mechanical aptitude in troubleshooting field issues

• Safety-focused mindset with attention to detail
