Journeyman Welder

Join Kings' Manufacturing team in Red Deer, Alberta, as a Journeyman Welder. This full-time role focuses on welding fittings, piping, and vessels with precision and safety.

We are looking for a skilled Welder experienced in vertical, flat, and overhead welds. You will work independently on projects, utilizing propane, natural gas, and acetylene torches. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety are essential in this hands-on position that operates under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate welding equipment safely and effectively

• Produce smooth, consistent welds with strong penetration

• Follow precise procedures using appropriate fixtures

• Maintain calibrated tools and equipment

• Effectively communicate within the manufacturing team

Requirements:

• Ability to weld carbon and stainless steel materials

• Experience with reading blueprints and cut lists

• Capability to lift 50 pounds and work in awkward positions

• QHSE procedure understanding

• Overhead Crane and Forklift certifications are assets
