The Heavy Duty Mechanic will play a critical role in the maintenance and repair of mining machinery. Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect equipment for malfunctions and inefficiencies
• Perform repairs and replacements of various components
• Ensure repaired equipment meets operational standards
• Assist in commissioning new surface mining machines
• Complete comprehensive technical and failure reports
Requirements:
• Must have Red Seal certification
• Minimum of 3 years experience is preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics
• Proven skills in diagnosing mining equipment issues
• Willingness to travel extensively for work
