Job Type: Full-Time | Overtime as Needed
Work Environment: Warehouse / Office
Location: Lancaster, TX 75134
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM OT as required
Payrate: $19.50/HR
Abacus Staffing is hiring a detail‑oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support customer service and logistics operations at a DSV facility. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, shipping and receiving documentation, data entry, and customer communication while ensuring compliance with all DSV work instructions and customer requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Order Processing
- Process customer orders accurately and on time
- Generate shipping paperwork and verify special order or shipping requirements
- Coordinate urgent or last‑minute shipping requests with operations
- Prioritize orders based on pickup times or dock cutoffs
- Provide shipping and tracking information as needed
Customer Interaction
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, receipts, and inventory in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain positive customer relationships
- Communicate customer feedback or concerns to management
Clerical & Administrative Duties
- Maintain all order‑related paperwork and files
- Keep DSV work instructions current and accurate
- Answer phones and operate standard office equipment
Data Entry & Documentation
- Enter and verify data related to orders, shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments
- Ensure accuracy of all shipping and receiving documents
- Assist with resolving discrepancies
- Collect and route inbound freight documentation to proper departments
- Follow all DSV work instructions and procedures
Additional Duties
- Provide backup clerical support as assigned
- Perform other duties as needed
- Work overtime as required (mandatory or voluntary)
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures (mild to moderate)

- Previous customer service experience, including phone support and office equipment use

- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 11–20 lbs
