What are your contributions to the team?
  • Plan, organize, motivate, and supervise the activities of a team of Manufacturing Engineers dedicated to correcting build impediments.
  • Exercise your leadership respecting the vision and values of Bombardier Aviation.
  • Assume the management responsibilities of your team, finance, and the achievement of your team's objectives.
  • Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process.
  • Coach your team to develop talent within the organization.
  • Work closely with various groups such as Engineering, Program, Production, Logistic, Purchasing and Quality to optimize change management, problem solving, and improve product flow.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You hold a university degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college degree with significant experience in manufacturing.
  • You possess at least ten (10) years of experience in the domain of manufacturing.
  • You posses excellent management aptitudes.
  • You have a solid knowledge in lean manufacturing.
  • You have good judgment, are flexible, results oriented, and at ease with tight deadlines.
  • You possess a great sense of initiative.
  • You are highly motivated, a team player able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
