Must be able to perform a variety of assembly operations on assemblies or sub‑assemblies and/or build parts for such assemblies, according to work instructions. Make setups and adjustments, holding tolerance to blueprint and work instructions specifications. May perform a wide variety of complex tests on fluids and electrical systems, checkouts, troubleshooting and rework on components, instruments, and assemblies; may prepare reports and suggest improvements and modifications from data collected.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other controlled procedures. Will also assist with inventory and cycle count.
In addition to the function, duties and responsibilities set forth in Inspector Associate, employee must also be able to perform inspection of assemblies/detail parts for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements. Possess an eye for defect identification. Documents discrepancies per applicable procedures. Works from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures and instructions, manufacturing specifications and procedures, operation and work sheets, electronic data, and verbal instructions.
Understand and ensure compliance of First Article Inspections. Uses precision measuring instruments such as ball gauges, height gauges, dial indicators, calipers, pana‑metrics (electronic thickness tester), and micrometers in performing assigned quality tasks. Be computer literate with skills in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, PDF, etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Train and assist employees as needed.
- Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident (i.e., ‘Green Card’) per ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) guidelines.

- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years of experience required.
