Job Description

Knapheide Installation Center in Red Oak, TX is looking to hire a Quality Technician II to manage the Quality Control auditing process, ensuring completed products meet Knapheide quality standards for form, fit, and function. This full-time position works Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
.

DAY TO DAY AS A QUALITY TECHNICIAN

As a Quality Technician II, you'll investigate quality issues, determine root cause and initiate corrective action. You'll communicate quality issues throughout the organization in order to prevent further occurrences. You'll supervise and train Quality Technicians on Knapheide quality standards and maintain the Knapheide Weld Program including weld training, certifications, and auditing. To be successful in this role, you'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to organize and prioritize job duties in order to meet deadlines.

This role reports to the General Manager and the Knapheide Truck Equipment Center (KTEC) Quality Manager. Limited travel may be required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent;
    Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in a Quality role preferred
  • Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds
