Why a Great Opportunity Technical Pre Sales Representative position - Midwest US $50,000 - $75,000 Job Description
An Ag Employer is searching for a Technical Pre Sales Representative. This role will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for providing technical support to the sales team and customers.
Responsibilities- Support our sales team to market the Company's software to new customers
- Present and explain Company's products and benefits directly at customers, on telephone, or online/virtually
- Schedule and conduct demos and support selling the company's pig management software to potential customers
- Support onboarding customers to the Company's Platform
- Arrange and manage courses both online and face to face for customers, potential customers, distributors, agricultural schools, vets, consultants, etc
- Participate in trade shows, fairs, events, associations and partners
- Participate in team meetings
- Align with sales, product management, and developers
- Deep knowledge of or network in the meat/pig industry and practical knowledge from farms
- Background or practical experience as a farm manager in breeding, multiplication, weaner or finisher farm.
- Ideally knowledge of farm technology (farm equipment, feeding systems, farm management systems, etc.)
- General knowledge of and interest in IT & Software
- Good communications skills, good people skills, and the ability to work in a team
- Positive attitude, solution-oriented, passionate and enthusiastic
- Excellent presentation skills
- Willingness to travel is a must as you will be in the field most of the time
