Special Education Paraprofessional (Highly Qualified)

Schedule:
Monday-Friday; 6.5 hours per day; following the school calendar
Hours:
8:30am-3:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch Daily start and end times are subject to future change based on student needs
Rate of pay: $21.08 to 22.24 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications, and pursuant to the Red Wing Education Support Personnel Association Master Agreement.

Key qualifications:
Are patient, adaptable, and possess a genuine passion for supporting students with special needs. Are highly organized, responsible, and able to follow directions. Hold or are eligible for Highly Qualified status as defined by Minnesota state requirements (e.g., Associate's degree or higher, or successful completion of the Para Pro Assessment). OR willingness to become Highly Qualified upon hire. Experience with specific disabilities (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders) is a plus.
