Responsibilities- Maintain an information media program that fosters the continued professional growth of the learning community.
- Develop effective instructional sequences.
- Create and implement a physical and interpersonal classroom environment that supports student learning within a correctional setting.
- Engage students in learning and utilize instructional strategies that help students understand content.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities and collaborate with colleagues to advance learning for teachers and students.
This position is located at a correctional facility and has direct contact with students who are incarcerated.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university.

Preferred Qualifications- Possession of a current Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 teaching license.
- Experience working in an education setting.
- Experience working in a correctional setting.
- Experience teaching information technology and literacy courses.
- Possession of a multi-categorical teaching license.
- Full‑time teaching experience as a licensed teacher.
