Repair Technician

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and technical services, is seeking a Repair Technician to join their team. As a Repair Technician, you will be part of the Technical Services Department supporting the Block Repair team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Repair Technician

Location: Red Wing, MN
4 month contract

Hours: 1st shift: 10 hours day 4 days a week 5 am - 3:30 pm

Pay Range: $25 to $35 p/h on W-2 depending upon experience

• Inspect and repair defective or damaged safety blocks to ensure quality standards are met.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, then reassemble after repairs.
• Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Support non-conformances with product repair and source & manage inventory of repair parts.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and uphold safety protocols at all times.

• High School Diploma or GED or higher education.
• Minimum two years of experience working with blueprints and repair diagrams as an assembly aid.
• Trained and certified to repair six block styles, with completed OJT forms.
• At least one year of experience in Block Repair or Technical Services Repair department.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
