Assembly Technician Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Assembly Technician, where you will be responsible for assembling and testing cable assemblies and wire harnesses ranging from simple to complex. You will play a crucial role in ensuring quality standards and functionality, while supporting team goals across various assembly areas.
Responsibilities- Follow assembly prints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Build and test cable assemblies and wire harnesses.
- Operate tools and equipment including braiders, crimpers, cutters, and testers.
- Ensure quality standards and functionality are met.
- Rotate across different assembly areas to support team goals.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Experience in assembling, production, and machine operation.
- Proficiency in using tools such as soldering irons and welding equipment.
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF.
- Understanding of standards for Quality, Safety, and Cost (QSD).
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.

Work EnvironmentWork in a climate‑controlled building with a mix of sit‑down and stand‑up tasks, focusing on large wire harnesses. The facility is designed to support both comfort and productivity.
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based in Red Wing, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $20.00–$24.00 per hour.
