Coating Technician

A Coating Technician is responsible for applying specialized coatings and protective materials to mechanical components used in sensitive or hazardous environments. This role involves preparing surfaces, operating spray equipment, installing protective boots, and ensuring quality standards are met. The technician works in a clean or controlled environment, often on a second shift, and collaborates with production and engineering teams to meet safety and performance specifications.

Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow technical procedures are essential for success in this position.

• 2nd Shift
  - Monday
  - Thursday 3pm-1am

• $21/hr.
• Weekly paychecks every Friday

• Prepare surfaces of mechanical components for coating or booting
• Operate spray equipment to apply protective coatings according to specifications
• Install protective boots or coverings on precision assemblies
• Mask, tape, and clean parts to ensure proper adhesion and finish
• Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and consistency
• Maintain cleanroom standards and follow safety protocols
• Document production activity and report any issues or defects
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals

• Experience in painting, spraying, or assembly (preferred but not always required)
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions or blueprints
