Compensation: $20.00 - $26.44 per hour.

Schedule:

Part Time; 48 hours per pay period. 8‑hour shifts Monday through Friday 0700‑1900. Requires cross‑cover to Cannon Falls, Lake City, Zumbrota, Plainview, and Ellsworth, WI.

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the RN and accepts delegation from physicians, advanced practice providers, RN, LPN, and MA to meet patient and family needs.
• Direct care: delivers care, collects and documents patient data, and communicates information to patients, families, and care team members.
• Indirect care: supports the unit by maintaining the environment of care and performing unit‑based clerical duties.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and teamwork; committed to continuous learning, quality, and excellence.
• Utilizes multiple computer applications.
• Works with patients across the lifespan with multiple conditions.

• Must be 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred experience:
  
  Patient Care Specialist, Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), CNA/PCA.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstration of medical terminology preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and software applications required.
• Self‑motivated and independent.
• Willing to work with all populations served.
• Calm and effective in emergency situations.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
• Well organized, detail‑oriented, accurate and efficient.

• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• If not currently certified, BLS will be provided as part of the orientation program.
