Position Summary

(USA) Stocking 2 Coach, Non-Complex, Management – Local Level – Red Wing, MN.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and develop high‑performing teams by providing clear expectations, coaching, training and feedback to associate staff in touring stores.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology, merchandising and company direction, and introduce and lead company change efforts.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way model, managing customer service initiatives, and resolving complaints and issues effectively.
  • Guide financial performance by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow and operational processes.
  • Execute action plans to mitigate shrink, maintain sales and profit goals, and implement process improvements for high‑quality customer experience.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing achievements, and promoting a culture of belonging and continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, the Open Door Policy, and the company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders, communicate with impact, energy and positivity, and promote a workplace that values diversity and inclusion.
  • Act with integrity, making a positive impact for associates, customers and communities while adhering to Walmart’s values.
  • Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying the EDLP and EDLC business models, and making decisions based on data insights and analysis.
  • Strive for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, embracing continuous improvements, adopting new technologies, and supporting others through change.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition with state‑specific requirements, completion of a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Must attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U, Bellevue University) and supervising five or more direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring and terminating responsibilities.

Additional Compensation
  • Annual salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 and performance‑based bonus awards.
