Associate Web Developer

This role follows a hybrid work model, offering flexibility to work remotely while coming together in the office in Red Wing, MN on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for collaboration. There may also be occasional in-person "Moments that Matter" and key business needs throughout the year that require additional days in the office. Candidates should live within commuting distance of Red Wing, MN at the time of hire.

The Associate Web Developer supports the development, maintenance, and operation of web-based applications and eCommerce platforms used across Red Wing Shoe Company.

This role contributes to application development, troubleshooting, and production support while collaborating with technical and business teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications, including new features, improvements, and defect resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and system stabilization
• Support integrations with enterprise systems, including APIs, services, and data exchanges
• Participate in continuous integration and deployment processes, including builds, deployments, and validation
• Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs, scheduled processes, and data feeds
• Collaborate with team members to improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement efforts
• Work within Agile development practices, including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
