This role involves providing safe, high-quality imaging services through performing a variety of diagnostic procedures independently.
Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, ensuring proper identification and patient privacy, and responding to emergency situations.
Technologists must review images for quality, maintain equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Effective communication with patients, colleagues, and physicians is essential to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure patient comfort.
Additional duties include transporting patients, restocking supplies, maintaining a clean environment, and supporting departmental operations.
Qualifications require a certificate in Radiologic Technology, ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, and BLS certification.
Minimum one year of clinical experience, preferably in MRI, is required.
Skills include excellent communication, customer service, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and MRI safety protocols.
Must be capable of multitasking, working independently, and adhering to hospital policies and professional standards.
